Simple Fall Tablescape

It’s hard to believe we are into November now! I mean it feels like it was just the start of the going back to school season. I love getting up out table for each festive time of the year and lately I have been loving a simple fall tablescape. We already had our Canadian thanksgiving but I wanted to share  the set up I have has in the dining room for most of the autumn months!

Doing a table up with a tone of stuff is just not worth it to me right now in this busy season with kids haha. They love using the table for day to day activities whether it be crafts, reading and homework so I had to have a set up in the middle that was workable for for our day to day life! Has soon as I saw these Gathre Micro mats I knew they would be the perfect base to work from. The micro mat is actually super versatile and can be used for a lot of different purposes. The best thing is they look great and are totally cleanable which is key with the kids. I have the colour “Ginger” and it really served as the main colour I built off of.

If you have been reading along for awhile you know I am a big fan of rugs in the dining space. They just visually section off the space and bring such a layer of cozy. However! A rug in the dining room can be challenging which is why I am loving this Ruggable Rug. The top layer comes off and you can wash it in the washing machine!! So easy and really gives me that piece of mind that if spaghetti gets spilled it’s no big deal! Plus its stain resistant sooo..yeah, major mom win. I have “Hudson Black Stripe” and it’s a great neutral that could work in a lot of different areas of the home.

For my main table accent I layered in all these beautiful amber bottles filled with pampas grass and paired with some brass candles and of course white pumpkins. I love how festive and pretty it looks but again it’s simple and easy to manage with the kids. I hope you all enjoyed this little tablescape and stay tuned for some more festive decor.
