One of my favourite things to decorate with in the house are sheepskin rugs. They are such a great punch of texture and really cozy up a space. If you have ever been to my house you know I have a slight obsession with these small luxurious rugs and seem to have one in every room.
To me, they are just an all over great piece, you can use them on the floor as a rug to define a space or layered over another rug which looks extra great. My 7 month old loves laying on them and I have one in both of the boys bedrooms in their reading nooks. It’s such a comfortable place for them to curl up and use their imagination with books. I also love draping them on chairs, benches and sofas. They look great on coffee tables, dining chairs or slung over a floor pouf as well. You just can’t go wrong, really. Put one anywhere and odds are it will work haha. They add such a warmth and are very comfortable to sit on. My husband laughs because I have them everywhere but I know he secretly enjoys sitting on the chair in our family space that I have one draped on, he just isn’t ready to admit it.
I thought I would share a couple inspirational photos of this little rug looking just as cozy as ever in hopes to inspire some of you to pick one up! The best price I have found so far would be at Costco. A couple times a year they bring them into the store in a few different colours for 39.99 and it’s a really great price and they sell out fast. I also have one from Homesense that is nice as well and they always seem to have some in stock there.
