Well I’m squeezing in under the wire here today, sorry for posting late but it was a crazy day! I made some great progress this week in the room! So first off I got the wall painted behind the bed and it’s all ready for the board and batten now! The white looks so great guys, it’s making me want to paint the whole room, it has brightened everything up and is just the perfect back drop for the design. I love it.
I also recieved the moroccan pouf which I am soooo excited about. It is just amazing and the craftmenship is gorgeous. I got it from the Etsy shop MaisonMarrakechand it arrived super fast and is just the perfect accent piece! They have all kinds of colours but you know me, I love white!
It was also a great mail week because my juju hat arrived from Etsy as well!! Can you guess what colour it is? Don’t worry there will be colours other then white in the room haha. I got the hat from the shop AfricanHeritageArtsand it is everything I could have hoped for and can’t wait to get it up on the wall.
The nightstands are all sanded and primed and I just need to get the drawers coloured matched so that I can paint the top! I also picked up two knobs that I spray painted brass that look perfect on it. Also if you follow me on Instagram you would have seen on my story that I finally got the lamps for the nightstands…and boy are they beauties! So my to do list is looking like this:
–Paint wall white and build board and batten feature wall
-reupsholster the bed
-rug
-pillows for bed
–lamps for nightstands
-ceiling fixture
-re-finish nightstands (half done)
-get art and frames
-juju hat
–moroccan pouf
-mirror for dresser
-dresser to arrive and assemble
-fiddle leaf fig tree
-style the space
