En-Suite Design Board

We have been working on our master bedroom en-suite for the past couple of months chipping away at small projects. This is one of the last areas of our house that I want to inject some design into and make it feel cohesive with the rest of the house! My husband and his friend DIY’d a subway tile backsplash which turned out so great and I actually grouted it myself which was a bit out of my comfort zone ha! I think sometimes we get nervous about tackling these types of projects ourselves but the reality is we are all totally capable of doing these types of projects if we just take a bit of extra time!

So before I reveal this space to you guys I wanted to share my design board and the whole vision I have for this bathroom. Eventually I would love to update the floor tile and then tub and shower area however for now an oversized rug and pretty shower curtain will do the trick :). We have these beautiful Kichler vanity lights in brass so I really wanted to do brass faucets to tie it all together. These Delta faucets are special order from Kent Building Supplies and I am in love with them! We updated our sinks from Kent as well and I am loving the larger size. We had run into a little snag with installing the faucets when we took off our old faucet to find 3 holes were being covered up and our new faucet wasn’t compatible with a deck plate. So we swapped out the sinks for a single hole drop in basin and the finished result is so good!

Stay tuned for the reveal of this space soon!

Kind thoughts,

Lauren Elizabeth
