Boys Shared Bedroom

Happy 2020 my lovely blog readers! I can’t even believe it because I feel like I legit remember the millennium like it was yesterday, that’s probably saying a little more about me haha. Ok so to kick things off for the new year I wanted to share some of the changes I am making to the boys shared bedroom! If you want to see how it used to be set up you can check out this blog post here .Alright, SO, basically the set up we had worked, it really did, but we did find that when the boys wanted to play in their room there just wasn’t much space. Rightfully so, I mean two twin beds in a 11×12 room doesn’t leave a lot of floor space so to speak but I am grateful for the size of this room!

With my middle boy turning 5 this year and the oldest turning 8 I finally felt like we were in a place that we could finally do bunk beds. But here’s the thing, I didn’t want regular bunk beds, I wanted cool bunk beds. Like something that looked great, was durable and just an all around winner when it comes to style and function. Well did I ever find the bunk bed jackpot!! Can we just marvel at how beautiful this is?? South Shore Furniture is a Canadian brand and this is their “Bebble Bunk Bed”. The white details, the wood tone, it just blends, modern, scandi and all the goodness into one piece! I was so excited to work with them on this because I love supporting great Canadian brands and this piece is such amazing quality. From the solid wood details, the wood screw covers, everything was thought of and we have just been so happy with it!

Did I mention it is actually two separate beds on top of each other? Yep, you read that right you can use these beds separately which I think it just amazing and that top bunk used as a single bed with the tall sides would actually be an amazing bed for a toddler too! South Shore Furniture was kind enough to give me a code of you guys, it’s “BEBBLEHH10” and it gives you 10% off!!

So the boys room isn’t quite finished yet there are a few other things I want to do in here but I am trying to also share the progress of spaces and not just the reveals so you guys can see that these things do take time. Now that I have that long wall free I would really like to get a bigger dresser to house all their clothes. Luckily they have a great size closet but they need more drawer space. I am going to share how things come together in the coming weeks so stay tuned friends and I hope you all had an amazing holiday!

Kind thoughts,

Lauren Elizabeth
