Boys Bathroom Update/ Reveal

Hello lovely blog readers! Happy Thursday. I am excited to share this little project with you all because I have been working on it off and on now for a little while. Ok sooo trip down memory lane, remember a couple of years ago when I painted the boys bathroom dark? I couldn’t even really find any images of it because although I liked the change at first, it never really felt like it fit that space.

Well fast forward over a year and I knew I wanted to update this bathroom. It’s not a huge space however it still always shocks me the difference that a fresh coat of paint can make and updating your light fixtures!  You all know I love and am partnered with my favourite home building supplies store Kent and they recently launched a ton of new lighting! I was so excited to check out the new fixtures and I am in love with the two that I went with (Head to the bottom to grab the discount code Kent was kind enough to give you guys!)

I wanted the boys bathroom to feel bright and clean with pops of matte black. As soon as I saw the “Leeds” vanity fixture I knew it was the one. It has this fun circular shape that feels mid century and I love the two tone look. The ceiling light is this stunning lantern style that I think suits the space perfectly! It’s large enough to make a statement but doesn’t take over.

One of my favourite parts of updating any space is brining in some accessories! I love these House of Jude Turkish towels, the pattern is perfect with thesoft stripe and I love how pretty they look. They get softer and softer with every wash and she also has the cutest littleface clothsand hand towels as well. I love that the face clothes have a loop on them for easy hanging which helps keep things tidy. The loop really helps the boys keep the cloth hung up on the hook!

I did shelves behind the toilet because it is such a great use of space and an easy place to put a lot od overflow whether it’s extra toothpaste, clothes, toilet paper etc. I love the touch of warmth the wood brackets bring to the space.

The paint color I went with is the white I have used in a few rooms now, its called “Delicate White” by Sico Paints from Kent and I love how bright yet soft it is. We used their kitchen and bathroom wall paint in eggshell and it covered the dark walls like a dream! Seriously guys- so good!

My friends at Kent where so kind to offer you guys a discount of 15% off online on all their lights!! Say whaaaa! If you are thinking of updating any lighting in your home now is a great time to catch some savings!

Use code “HIRE15” online for all ceiling and wall lights from May 2nd- May 8th!

Kind thoughts,

Lauren Elizabeth
