Well now that it is safe to say that summer is here it’s a great time to get outside and spruce up the front of your home! There are some really simple ways you can update your entry without breaking the bank and giving you that welcoming space for your guests, and yourself!
I think one of my favourite, high impact things to do to the front of a home is to paint the front door. This is such an easy and quick way to make an impact and freshen thing up. Another great way to create a focal on your home is to flank your front door with some beautiful tall planters, this will really draw the eye and create uniformity especially if you have an off entered entry.
I also love to layer outdoor rugs and mats to create a cozy look. Finding a nice stripe or geometric and then layering a textured mat over top really looks great and helps make your door more welcoming. Adding a statement wreathe and some other smaller layered planters with some pattern will help finish the look and really pull things together.
