Today I wanted to share the board I have done up for our dining room. Now there are still some things that need tweaking but this is the overall vibe I am going for. I have been on the hunt for a good dining rug that is easy to clean as it’s bound to get food on it from the kids. I love the way a rug frames in a dining space and makes it feel more cozy and there are definitely rugs that are durable and great for the dining space (even if you have kids!).
The other piece that I am undecided about it the sideboard, I do love this one however I have been debating on if I want to go all wood like in the board or a two tone piece with white. I will get a better idea once the new dining table is in the space, but I love the idea of having some storage in the dining room for kid related things like craft supplies and easy to access items. This way it’s super accessible but in a stylish, pretty piece that will disguise what it holds, win win!
