Bedroom Reveal

So I thought about waiting to share one of my kids bedroom with you all until I had it completely done the way I wanted it. However, I feel like I am always moving things around and tweaking items so I might as well show you all now and then I can update you as I add new things! I wanted my three year old (or threenager as I like to say) to have a really fun, playful bedroom that he could enjoy for years to come. A space he would want to be in and is a representation of him and where he is at this point in his life. I knew I wanted a graphic pattern accent wall and I have to say I love these triangle wall decals and so does he. They have such a big impact in his room and really add a punch of personality without being too over bearing because they are only on the one wall.

I love his headboard that I made for his bed back when we transitioned him into a “big boy bed”. It’s nice and cozy to lean against for bedtime stories and because it’s padded it has saved us from a lot of bumped head episodes as he is a typical boy and loves going crazy and jumping on the bed. I talked about his little reading shelveshere and I have actually since reconfigured his room to this arrangement which has been a nice switch up. I love having the books out on display because it really encourages him to look at them and he loves picking bedtime stories off the shelf at night.

I think my favourite thing in his room is still his play teepee, we bought it for him two Christmas’s ago and he still loves it so much. I have string lights at the top that we will turn on at night and it’s so fun watching his little imagination at work when he plays in it.

He has a pretty large closet so we have been keeping his huge toy organizer in there and its been a great way to keep is room clean but at the same time all his things are still super accessible. He keeps some of his favourite toys that he always plays with the most out in the plays bins and everything else he can get out of the closet organizer as he wants.

I have debated on doing drapes in his room and I still may add them eventually, but right now I have been enjoying the clean, simplicity of the white blinds. Children’s rooms are such a sweet place and I love that he loves his room so much. I hope you guys enjoyed this little reveal and are having a great day!

Kind thoughts,

Lauren Elizabeth
